This one-hour presentation expands The Reflective Studio™, an original practitioner framework for Action Research in the independent piano studio. Participants can examine how teachers can identify a meaningful instructional challenge, ask a focused question, design one intentional change, collect relevant evidence, reflect on what they discover, and adapt future teaching. Special attention will be given to early childhood piano education, including engagement, persistence, independence, parent partnership, and musical confidence. A short, guided workshop will help participants create their own Action Research question and practical inquiry cycle, so they leave prepared to use the framework immediately in their studios.
