ABOUT US

We are a group of teachers who meet for professional development and support, and host events to provide performance and learning opportunities for our students and the community at large. We come from varied backgrounds, education, and experiences, and welcome teachers at every stage of their careers, including those who are still in school or retired.  Our meetings and activities are primarily piano focused, but we welcome all music educators.

We are a non-profit organization affiliated with Illinois State Music Teachers Association (ISMTA) and Music Teachers National Association (MTNA). Membership in BNMTA requires membership in our two parent organizations.
